Mr Kinky Nomad seems to be in an excellent mood this morning, as he starts with his rare display of affection over MSN. And now he complains that I’m not lovely dovey enough. Just because he was dear for once in a blur moon. Man, and their weird concoction of dreams.

News is flying rampantly in the office that we are moving to a new premises at the end of July. Not quite happy to learn of this, as I have just settled down and had plans to hit Yoga when they open their new club in August. Now I have to replan my schedule and hope they will shift somewhere convenient and near. There goes my plans of meeting Mr Kinky Nomad for a afterwork drink or meal too. What a bummer. Looks like Raffles Place will always be a elusive workplace for me. Oh well.

The Italian wines are giving me a headache with their fanciful labels. My oh my!

True Yoga

I saw quite an amazing scene this morning.

There was this plain lady seated diagonally across me on the mrt. She took out a large bag of toiletries and started applying her make-up on the spot. First was the eyeshadow with multi-coloured palate. Next came the blusher on her bountiful cheeks. She tried lining her upper eyelids with liquid eyeliner but could only draw one eye when the train started moving on its slow track. Hence, she took out another multi-coloured palate of lip colours and chose a neutral purple. When the train stopped once again, she began lining the other eye with liquid eyeliner, taking care not to poke it into her eye. She appeared nonchalent and ignorant of the open stares of passengers and my sneaking glances. When the mrt reached her stop at Dhoby, she was just putting the finishing touches of mascara on her eyes. Calmy zipping up her toiletries bag and newly made-up, she waited for the busy throngs of passengers pushing each other off the train and sauntered out afterthat. Her timing was impeccable and this unusual task for me appears to be just another daily routine of hers.

And so I am now a formal member of True Yoga. Calmness, relaxation, mediatation and laid-backness here I come!
